The client is a leading music streaming and music recommendation provider, powered by the Music Genome Project. With offices in Australia, New Zealand, and the United States, the client enables the users to access their services either through a web browser or via their application software that can be downloaded on the user’s devices like personal computers or mobile phones.
Fueled by inorganic and organic expansions, in 2015, the client’s fast-growing business required a move to a larger ERP platform — Oracle Fusion Cloud. This conversion at the client’s end included:
- Customer Master
- Bank Accounts (Internal and External)
- Receivables Invoice and Receipt
- Payable Invoices
- Fixed Assets
With their on-demand and anytime available services, the client had decided to go-live with the conversions in all its four locations globally. Due to the global roll-out, the conversion to the new ERP system had to be done seamlessly across all locations without affecting the everyday business

Jade’s strong technical and functional team analyzed the client’s legacy ERP system and helped them convert and migrate from to the Oracle Fusion Cloud. Through its robust network of certified Oracle Cloud Financials implementers, Jade Global helped the client to understand the technology implications before converting, migrating and reconciling the data. Jade used its pre-defined templates to convert the financial data to Fusion with ease and within a record time.
Jade prepared standard test scripts for Financials and Procurement in the Fusion Cloud, which were then used for testing and certification process. Jade optimized these test scripts to incorporate all the new features within the client’s business practice that helped reduce any kind of manual interventions.
Jade Global also developed multiple BI reports to validate configurations across all the financial modules. These reports enabled the client to quickly analyze any missing or changed configuration across environments.
As a part of this business engagement, the client’s entire technical and functional team was cross-trained on all the new features. The primary training program included documentations and demos on business flows as well as report creation and knowledge transfer on migration specifics. Post-deployment, the experts at Jade continued supporting the client’s in-house team until they were comfortable with the new environment.
