Jade Global had an action-packed week at COLLABORATE 19: Technology and Applications Forum for the Oracle Community (OATUG) as an exhibitor and speaker from April 7- 11, 2019. In contrast to the 2018 location in lively Las Vegas, this year’s event was held in the historic city of San Antonio, Texas. The conference spanned over 4.5 days featuring 1,000+ Oracle-centric courses and panels. Jade Global was honored to be among hundreds of presenters providing in-depth education at the largest gathering of the Oracle community.
Throughout the week of COLLABORATE 19, Jade Global presented three educational and training sessions. The sessions were centered around the theme of customer success. Our supply chain and subject matter experts Manoj Rathi (Consulting Director, SCM and ERP) and Sridevi Srikanth (Senior Project Manager) represented Jade Global as speakers and booth staff at Kiosk #707 K5 in the exhibit hall. Manoj and Sridevi discussed Jade Global’s extensive portfolio of Oracle services and solutions including Financials, Revenue Management, Supply Chain, HCM, PLM, EPM, BI and PAAS both in Oracle Cloud and On-Premise environments. Their sessions covered real-world supply chain implementation stories, Oracle Cloud integration lessons, and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management). Each session explained the planning, challenges and complex scenarios involved in creating a successful solution.
“We always look forward to the opportunity to present our cloud knowledge and skills at Collaborate, as such conferences serve as great learning experiences and eye openers for Jade Global. Our speakers presented about the lessons learned during our customer cloud implementations and lessons needed to survive a cloud implementation with integrations. Overall, we had very engaging and interactive sessions. We are happy to share Jade Global’s ability to lead the customer to a stable position,” said CEO Jade Global, Karan Yaramada.

Implementing a Complex Supply Chain Planning Process at Bloom Energy
Session Abstract:
Implementing Highly Complex Supply Chain Planning Process at Bloom Energy [BUS1813]. Bloom Energy has complex supply chain planning requirements due to the nature of its product, procurement processes, and global manufacturing operations. The planning implementation required multiple plans in sequence including application extensions in PaaS to run material allocations using custom engineering logic. Bloom used safety stocks, alternate BOMs (product structures), phantoms, and multilevel/multiorg product explosion, and complex sourcing scenarios to plan the manufacturing supply chain.

Survival of the Fittest- Learnings on Being Live on Oracle Cloud with Integrations- Save-a-Lot Story
Session Abstract:
Presenting to share the lessons being learned on existence on Oracle Cloud with multiple integrations. Being in an integrated environment requires diligent monitoring and support to not just Cloud applications but the boundary systems as well. Ensuring data quality, integrity and completeness is a challenge. Accurate reporting would highly depend on the source data quality and detail. Support challenges are posed as resources with multiple skills sets are needed. Setting a process in place for change and release management must always ensure end to end approach.

Implementing and Extending PLM Cloud for Gibson Overseas
Session Abstract:
In this session, we will review the implementation of PLM Cloud for Gibson Overseas. We will see how we can migrate PLM processes and extension from Agile into cloud PLM. Gibson designs and sells more than 7K products every year in a highly time-sensitive market. A wall to wall implementation eliminated the need for custom integration between PLM and ERP for Gibson and significantly improved the time to market for Gibson products in the market, thereby enabling higher profitability and lower chances of lost business
