Jade Global signs MOU with KIT’s College of Engineering, DKTE Society's Textile and Engineering Institute Ichalkaranji

Jade Global signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with two engineering colleges, DKTE Society's Textile and Engineering Institute and the Kolhapur Institute of Technology's (KIT) College of Engineering which are affiliated to the Shivaji University, Kolhapur (SUK). The MoU was signed in the presence D B Shinde, SUK vice-chancellor, Sandeep Suryavanshi, CTO, Jade Global, P V Kadole, Principal DKTE and V V Karjinni, Principal KIT College. The MoU, which lasts for 36 months offers students an exclusive opportunity to work with Jade on projects and explore various opportunities and latest technologies.

Sandeep Suryavanshi, CTO, Jade Global, awarded scholarships of Rs 50,000 to two students from KIT’s College of Engineering and DKTE Society's Textile and Engineering Institute Ichalkaranji and Rs 25,000 to two students from Govt. College of Engineering, Karad. He also shared his vision for this scholarship fund and provided his valuable guidance to support the next generation leaders. Sandeep Suryavanshi, said, "Students from the Kolhapur region have got talent and the only thing that pushes them back is the lack of opportunity. Our firm is committed to bring these talented students to mainstream IT and let them have a first-hand experience of how things work."

Dr Vilas Karjini, Principal of KIT college said that since last three years, Jade has hired 90 merit students and it has been instrumental in shaping careers for students from the Kolhapur and Karad regions. This MOU further strengthens the relations between the IT industry and the education sector.
