Collaborate 18 Session Highlights and Conference Recap

Jade Global exhibited and presented during the OAUG (Oracle Application User Group) Collaborate 18 Conference. Collaborate brings together three major user groups in Oracle technology for 5 days of presentations, networking, and exhibit halls attracting over 5,000 attendees from all over the world. The goal of the conference is to educate and empower Oracle users with tools, knowledge, and best practices to get the best return on their technology investments.

This year, Collaborate was held at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas from April 22-26th 2018. The week began with pre-conference workshops, a meeting of the OAUG members, and a welcome reception. Jade Global was stationed at Booth 1012 which had the theme of “Digital Transformation.” Our booth experts covered topics on Cloud success, challenges, strategies, and how to bring your transformation projects to the digital era.

In between packed keynote sessions by industry leaders including Dennis Amorosano, Senior VP and General Manager of Canon Information & Imaging Solutions, Jade Global delivered 8 educational breakout sessions. Our session topics ranged from customer success, best practices, and strategies in the ERP and SCM space.

Below are summaries of each of Jade Global's Collaborate presentations.

Demand Management and Planning in the Oracle Cloud

Speaker: Manoj Rathi, CSCP, CS&OP, SCM and ERP SAAS Practice Lead, 20+ Cloud Presentations at Oracle forums

Session Summary: Oracle has released Demand Planning in Cloud with Release 13. We will share the experiences of an early adaptor customer with their demand management and SNOP processes in the Cloud. We will also compare the cloud offering with that of Demantra and provide guidance on its readiness for different industries. In the end we will explore the coexistence possibilities and prerequisites for Demand Management Cloud.
